What to expect at a safe property valuation after lockdown

Following lockdown and the opening up of property services, the government issued a number of guidelines on how to safely work in other peoples' homes. This includes being able to come to your property for a valuation as well as guidelines for showing people around your property for viewings.

If you're thinking of selling or renting your property we've produced a short customer video to show what to expect at a property valuation and highlight what we're doing to keep you safe.

If you would like to know more about the market or to arrange a property valuation please book an appointment with us.

How we're responding to coronavirus

You can find out more about all safety guidelines and what to expect in our Coronavirus update section. This includes how we're keeping viewings safe too:

Still not sure about physical valuations and viewings?

At Lauristons our team remained proactive throughout the lockdown developing our ability to offer remote live valuations and live viewings through our Lauristons Livestream service. This allows us to value and conduct viewings remotely and progress your sale with as minimal contact as possible. All first viewings can be conducted remotely and only buyers or renters who are able to make an offer attend a viewing at a property.
