What do the 22 September restrictions mean for the property market?

Following the announcement from Boris Johnson yesterday, you may be wondering what this will mean if you’re looking to buy, sell, rent or let your property in England.

At the moment there have been no further restrictions placed on the market. You are still free to list your property for sales or let and we are still able to conduct sales and lettings viewings at the property using our previous ‘safe property valuations’ and ‘safe viewings’ processes that we put in place back in May when the lockdown was first eased.

To do our part in reducing the spread of the virus we have always maintained safe procedures and social distancing and have limited the number of contacts we have with  customers.

We are able to conduct many parts of the process electronically, including first viewings, mortgages and conveyancing processing.

If you are thinking of selling or letting your property, we can reassure you that it is still safe to do so and that we still have a number of buyers and renters looking for new property.
